Chestpiece:
The Dual-Head chestpiece and full-rotational Acoustic Valve Stem are machined and polished to the exact tolerance from the finest stainless steel. The chestpiece angle is specifically engineered to pick up low-frequency sounds. An ultra-sensitive Diaphragm sealed by the Diaphragm Retaining Ring detects heart and lung sounds at a range of 100 to 1000Hz. The oversized and deep cone-shaped Bell detects acoustic sensitivity at low frequency sound transmission at 20-100 Hz. Non-chill durable PVC Retaining Rings crown both the Diaphragm and Bell to provide greater patient comfort.

ErgonoMax Headset:
The 22K Gold Edition ProCardinal Stainless Steel Stethoscope's polished stainless steel headset provides superior acoustic transmission. The headset is adjustable thanks to the enclosed double internal spring, and MDFComfortSeal Eartips are ergonomically designed for long lasting fit and comfort. The ComfortSeal Eartips do more than provide comfort, however, as a better anatomical fit leads to better acoustic transfer.

Acoustic Tubing:
Dual acoustic tubes combined with an enlarged internal acoustic pathway in the Y configuration sustain the superiority of double tube acoustic transmission, and eliminate internal acoustic leakage and external interference. The GlideLock system snaps the chestpiece into place to further prevent leakage. Acoustic Tubes are constructed of non-cracking, non-sticking high-density latex-free PVC.
