The Bauerfeind® EpiTrain® Elbow Support is a knitted support that incorporates two anatomically contoured silicone inserts that are surrounding the lateral and medial elbow bones and are lying over the extensor and flexor muscles. These silicone inserts are designed to provide patients with intermittent compression to the soft tissue joint and to leave the elbow bones pressure free. This results in increased circulation and aids in the resorption of edema and swelling. The Bauerfeind® EpiTrain® Elbow Support promotes a patient's proprioception which then heightens their sensory awareness in the elbow to provide increased joint stabilization.
