The BioCryo line of compression garments from Bio Compression Systems provides patients with a unique combination of mechanical, air-based compression and cold therapy treatment. Garments are available for a variety of locations including shoulders, ankles, wrists/hands, and backs, and ensure evenly-distributed compression to targeted muscle groups. The sequential nature of BioCryo compression is designed to mimic the bodys natural muscle movements that channel lymphatic fluid to and from a specific area, providing assistance to an already ongoing process to reduce swelling and edema.
The BioCryo gel packs contain a proprietary formula of water-based gel designed to maintain a 40-degree Fahrenheit temperature over the span of several hours without risking damage or cryoburn to the skin. The packs wont sweat, melt, or drip like ice packs that use frozen water to provide cold therapy, and also last significantly longer, reducing the need to refresh garment and ensuring therapy sessions can last as long as needed for each individual.
