This Walking Belt by Elgin helps stabilize and reestablish support for individuals who are having difficulties with their motor skills. The belt also helps reduce stress and strain on the caregiver which has been shown to cause unnecessary injuries. These belts come with several handles on the outside of the belt that can be used to comfortably reestablish balance and keep the person from falling down. The belt is made from a silky-soft nylon webbing that is washable and comes pre-shrunken. The belts are 4 wide and contain a Velcro closure. Also great for rehabilitation, the belts can be used in water during hydro/aquatic therapy.
These Walking Belts are available in 3 sizes: 18-28 waist for children, 28-44 waist for adults, and 44-60 waist for adults. The 2 smaller sizes have 3 handles on the belt while the largest sizes feature 5 handles. Made in the USA!
Damaged Goods
Damaged or short shipments must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the order.
Inspect all cartons for damage immediately upon receiving. If the shipment arrives damaged or if the box appears damaged, please do the following:
- Note damage on the delivery bill and have the driver sign it, acknowledging the damage.
- Contact Elgin Division Customer Service within 48 hours of receiving shipment at 1-800-279-3762 to start processing an insurance claim. An order will be entered at that time to replace the merchandise.
- Save the container and merchandise for inspection.
