The Contoured Cervical Collar is designed to be used therapeutically to help relieve pain from head movements, support the neck and head during post-surgical recovery from cervical spinal fusion, and help to realign the spinal cord due to injuries from sprains, strains, or whiplash. Constructed with latex-free, 1" thick, medium-density foam, the collar is contoured under the chin to provide comfort and uniform support around the head.
The collar is covered in a poly/cotton stockinette to help protect the user's skin from perspiration build-up and irritation. The stockinette comes in a box with 25 yards to provide replacement stockinette when it becomes torn or dirty. Hook and loop closure material is located on the collar to provide easy application and removal, and the collar can be hand washed in cold water with a mild detergent to be cleaned and sanitized, then be laid flat to air dry.
The cervical collar can also be used to assist individuals suffering from mild muscle weakness, cervical arthritis, disc displacement, cervical facet syndrome, discogenic pain, and degenerative disc disease. The collar is available in heights of 2, 2.5", and 3", and be purchased as a single or as a case of five. Replacement cotton stockinette sleeves in 2" or 3" widths are also available.
