The Phase Change Cooling Vest with Hydration System relies on TechNiche's TechKewl phase change material (PCM) cooling technology to keep its wearers cool and refreshed during summertime activities. This TechKewl technology utilizes high-purity alkane materials to achieve targeted temperature cooling. Its ingredients are nontoxic, nonflammable, and noncombustible, and are sealed within high-strength polyurethane containers to provide users with a safe and convenient alternative to traditional cooling methods. The Phase Change Cooling Vest itself features a hook-and-loop design, front-side zipper closure, and a 70-ounce built-in water reservoir (or "bladder"½) to keep users hydrated while hiking, jogging, or engaging in other outdoor exercises.

I'm getting married next month and am always hot and sweating in the south Florida heat. Can I wear this under my suit? I was a former law enforcement officer and assume that the vest is comparable to my ballistic vest?

Answer: This can definitely be worn under clothing and would absolutely fit under a suit, however, the water reservoir bladder (for the built-in hydration system) does add some additional bulk that you'll need to consider when getting fitted for your suit. So long as you have a bit of extra space in the shoulders/back, you should be good to go! The built-in hydration system would also be a great thing to have during long periods where you can't step away for a drink.
