The Rear Wall Mounted Bath Bench is a 250 lb. capacity ADA compliant bath safety product that allows the elderly and those with physical mobility challenges to use a hand held shower in the bathtub. Constructed of durable and corrosion resistant stainless steel and your choice of a phenolic or padded naugahyde top, the Rear Wall Mounted Bath Bench mounts on the bathtub's back wall and rests on the tub ledge. Included fold-down legs allow can be used if the bathtub ledge is not sufficient enough for support. When not in use, the Rear Wall Mounted Bath Bench folds up and out of the way.
This product is non-returnable.

Rear Wall Mounted Bath Bench Features:

  • Available with your choice of a phenolic or cushioned naugahyde top
  • Folds up easily when not in use
  • Available in a left or right version
  • Complies with ADA 4.20.3 and 4.26.3

    Rear Wall Mounted Bath Bench Operation:
    The Rear Wall Mounted Bath Bench features a seat that holds in a raised position by a tension rod placed in the rear crossmember. When the seat is lowered into the down position, the swing down leg automatically locks into place with a push-pin button.

    How to Determine What Rear Wall Mounted Bath Bench Version You Will Need:
    If you are sitting in the back end of your tub and your left side is facing the tub's wall, you will want a left handed version. If you are sitting in the back end of the tub and your right side is facing the tub's wall, you will want a right hand version.

    Rear Wall Mounted Bath Bench Installation:
    All shower seats must only be installed using suitable fasteners and sufficient in-wall backing materials. The ADA mounting height for the seat in a lowered position is 17" to 19".

    The Rear Wall Mounted Bath Bench includes a 5 year warranty.
