AmTryke ProSeries 1412 Foot Cycle is designed to provide a comfortable, supportive tricycle that is easy to use for children with special needs. This cycle features a fixed drive that makes it easy for children who may have difficulty powering a full pedal rotation on a standard tricycle. The foot crank is consistently in motion for full therapeutic effect, while the fixed drive allows easy operation by ensuring that the pedals only stay in motion while the limbs stay in motion, improving safety.
The ProSeries 1412 features 12-inch front and rear wheels with pneumatic tires. A rolled steel frame has hand-ratcheting levers which allow the sliding seat post to move closer or further from the front to accommodate a variety of rider sizes. The seating removes from the frame for easy transport and storage. A low center of gravity provides added stability for safe use. Quick release cam levers provide easy handlebar adjustment. A safety steering limiter pin provides three graduated steering options: straight, 20 degrees left/right, and free steering. Self-righting pedals with footplates have a heel trap and straps over the instep and toe. Seating can be the saddle seat with a lap strap or the simple seat back with a chest strap. The seating adjusts 4 ways: up/down and forward/back, while the loading brake allows for easy transfer. Each AmTryke ProSeries 1412 Foot Cycle includes a steel wire basket and safety helmet.
AmTryke ProSeries 1412 Foot Cycle can be adapted with a wide variety of seating options and accessories - helping riders feel safe and secure. The special needs tricycle is available in Amtryke red. Assembly is required.
