Recommended for individuals with stable fractures and sprained ankles, the Anklizer II is a lightweight, low profile walking boot with contoured metal uprights to provide stability to the boot frame, and a more anatomical fit at the user's calf.
A deluxe tri-layer composite liner with an additional anterior ankle pad offers a cooling and comfortable feeling and support against the user's skin, and a closed-cell foam insole and heel cushion help to absorb and dissipate the painful pounding of a foot strike on a hard surface.
The rocker bottom sole with a low-profile heel helps to promote a more natural gait and a more correct alignment of the lower body, and the wide footbed of the walking boot will accommodate bulky dressing and swelling of the injured ankle and foot. Strong hook and loop closure straps are anchored to the boot frame with pivoting rivets and are positional for a custom compression and fit.
The universal fitting allows the low profile walker to be used on either the left or right foot, and the range of sizes includes extra small, small, medium, large, or extra-large.
