Baileys Bariatric Training Stairs provide bariatric patients the opportunity to engage in low-impact cardiovascular exercise while building balance, coordination, and agility. The heavy-duty construction, more generous width, and bolted handrails provide security for bariatric patients so they can be confident in their movements as they engage in therapeutic exercise.

These stairs are engineered specifically with the needs of bariatric patients in mind. Built from hardwood and tubular steel, they accommodate a weight load of up to 1000 pounds. On one end, narrow treads are alternated with wider platform area; on the other end, patients have the chance to practice on three narrow treads leading up to the top platform. End-to-end triple-level handrails provide continuous support. A 48 access width makes it easy for bariatric patients to move and turn around, and all stairs and platforms have non-slip treads to decrease fall risks.
