Burntec Burn Dressings, Masks, and Kits provide an effective solution for relief and treatment of burns, abrasions, bruises, and swelling. Each dressing is sterile and non-stick, trapping wound secretions and bacteria within the gel while being permeable to water vapor and oxygen but impermeable to bacteria, helping to protect the wound from contamination while allowing it to breathe. Soothing hydrogel provides a cooling effect to relieve pain and swelling for up to 24 hours, while non-stick properties allow for painless replacement without destroying granulation or new epithelium.

The innovative technology is designed with a unique stable-sheeting hydrogel structure that helps the gel stay in place without spilling off of the body surface. Medical-quality non-woven fabric backing has been strengthened to make it easy to handle without damaging the cooling gel. It incorporates an aqueous composition of natural and synthetic polymers such as polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyethylene glycol and agar, cross-linked by a beam of electrons for a gentle and effective cooling treatment solution that won’t aggravate sensitive skin or allergic reactions.

These dressings are available in universal square and rectangle shapes for versatile use on any body area or in masks for cooling relief of facial injuries. Kits are also available for easily portable and accessible use in the field or in a clinical setting. The Minor Burn Dressing Kit includes three different sizes of Burntec dressings in a compact carrying case, while the standard Burn Dressing Kit includes eleven sizes of dressings in a carrying case.
