The Comfy Splints Goniometer Elbow Full Hand Combo is only usable by patients with non-fixed contractures (that is, contracted joints that can still be flexed or extended). Elbow joint contractures are classified as the following:
5-30 degrees = mild contracture
30-90 degrees = moderate contracture
90 degrees plus = severe contracture
Each Comfy Splints Goniometer Elbow Full Hand Combo comes with a washable terrycloth cover (or two covers and a laundry bag, depending on the package). Each cover has a soft foam lining that covers the whole orthosis frame, relieving pressure and preventing damage that might result from wearing the orthosis alone.

Graduated extension of the elbow, spastic clenched fingers and wrist
Corrects and controls radial or ulnar deviation

Contra Indications:
- Patient has circulatory problems
- Pressure areas or skin irritations appear
- Patient has persistent pain in the wrist, fingers or hand
- Patient has increased edema, redness or blisters
