The Air Traveler Air Walker Boot by DARCO is suitable for patients with stable fractures and moderate to severe sprains. If you have suffered a mild to moderate injury to your heel, ankle, toes, or feet or are recovering from surgery, this pressurized walking boot can help remove muscle and joint strain while you rehabilitate.

The boot is sold in two heights that include numerous straps and a pump on the top. You can wear it on either foot you need to, and it pairs well with most traditional footwear. The 10mm sole will make you feel like you're walking on air while you have all the stability you need from the circumferential air bladder and pump on the upper section of the boot.

Straps line the walker from the toe to the top, giving you multiple points of support that you can adjust as needed. This flexibility lets you choose a design that caters to your body and injury type and will work on nearly anyone, young to old. If you need support further up your leg, the taller option has several straps that can wrap around your lower leg and provide pressure above your foot. How do I clean the Air Traveler Air Walker Boot?

Answer: The shell and the inner liner can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or soft brush and a mild detergent, then allowed to air dry.

How do I put on the Air Traveler Air Walker Boot?

Answer: 1) Open the hook-and-loop straps, remove the inner liner, and take out the foam pads.
2) Wrap the liner around your foot and secure with the closures.
3) Spread open the stirrups and place your foot (heel first) into the walker.
4) Once your leg is in the walker and your ankle is positioned at a 90° angle, remove the protective strip and affix the stirrups to the center of the liner on each side. 5) *OPTIONAL* - Place the foam pads in areas of excessive rubbing or to limit space.
6) Begin securing the cast's straps, starting at your toes and working towards your knee.
7) Inflate the liner, making sure the release valve is tightened clockwise. Be careful not to overtighten. Depress the gray bulb until your foot and ankle are comfortably immobilized. TAKE CAUTION to not overinflate the liner.
8) To release the cast's air pressure, rotate the release valve counterclockwise until the air begins to escape.
