The bendable, pressure-activated Flexible Switch Set includes one 2 x 4 inch switch and one 3 x 5 inch switch that can be adhered to a variety of objects and surfaces. These pediatric assistive technology switches combine the flexibility of the Taction Pad with the true pressure activation of Pal Pads, which activate with the slightest touch, directly above or at a shallow angle. These flexible switches can be attached to almost anything, turning those objects into the switch itself. Give more meaning to your Flexible Switch by attaching photos and symbols directly to the switch's surface. The adhesive-backed Flexible Switch Set has a standard 1/8-inch plug and can be used with many communication devices or battery-operated assistive devices that have a standard 1/8-inch jack. No returns are accepted on any switches with the adhesive backing removed.

More Information

The Flexible Switch Set combines features of the popular Pal Pads and Taction Pad Switches. By attaching these switches to various objects and surfaces, the object can then act as a switch would. Pictures or symbols can be attached directly on the surface for creative communication use.

Extremely lightweight and flexible, this set is valuable to those with very limited mobility. The minimum bending radius of the Flexible Switch is 1.5"½. It is very easy to use and should be placed in the area where the desired contact will activate it. Because of the strength of the adhesive, it is suggested that a trial fit to the corresponding assistive device be conducted before the backing is removed. For using the Flexible Switches on multiple items (instead of on one permanently), the switches can be adhered to a transparent sheet that uses hook and loop fasteners on the exposed side to your object. Fasteners are not included.

Please do not trim or cut the Flexible Switches in any way. Some adapted toys require a stronger current than can be provided by this style of switch. Always test motorized devices for compatibility and follow all included instructions.
