The Youth Safety Crib from HARD Manufacturing offers babies, toddlers, and youths up to 150 pounds a highly comfortable, supportive, and spacious crib for rest and relaxation. The crib features a large 60-inch by 36-inch size that ensures plenty of space for the child while in the crib. Joining this, the durable steel frame design allows the crib to support children of up to 150 pounds, which helps to ensure that it can support almost any young patient. This makes the crib an especially useful tool for children transitioning between a crib and an adult bed. The crib also comes equipped with a comfortable 5-inch mattress that delivers comfort and support to the child.

This crib is NOT intended for hospital use and cannot be sold to hospitals.

The crib features an elevated pan mattress platform, which is designed to provide caregivers with easier access to the child. Notably, this feature reduces the strain on caregivers backs and upper bodies, as it reduces the amount of bending and reaching needed to lift the patient in and out of the crib. To further accommodate this accessibility, the crib features EZ-Lift sides that are designed to be raised and lowered using convenient fingertip releases. This allows the sides to be quickly and easily adjusted to meet the needs of the caregiver.

Beyond its valuable accessibility, the Youth Safety Crib also offers customers a number of optional features that can enhance its value during care. These optional features include frame upgrades such as an oxygen tank holder or IV pole, as well as safety upgrades such as interior bumper pads or a vinyl ceiling cover to prevent children from climbing out of the crib. Additionally, customers can upgrade the mattress to a 5-inch FlexShield foam pressure reduction mattress, which is specially designed to redistribute pressure and prevent development of bed sores for patients who will spend extended periods of time in bed.
