Do not let the swab wand make contact with your hands, as that will contaminate the test results. Instead, hold the capped region at the top of the applicator. Once the surface has been swabbed, re-insert the swab wand back into the applicator. Second, snap the top of the applicator to release the liquid-stable chemistry that will activate the molecular bioluminescence of the sample. Third, squeeze the top of the applicator, and shake it. After these steps have been taken, the fourth and final step is to insert the applicator into the testing slot of the EnSURE Touch ATP Hygiene Monitoring System to check the test results.
