The K-3 AIRE-ZONE Digital True Low Air Loss System is engineered to provide effective pressure therapy through its innovative design. The system's core component is its Smart Support Surface, constructed with high-quality, urethane-coated nylon air cushions. These cushions are arranged in 16/20 cells per mattress, optimizing comfort and delivering effective pulse therapy.

The control unit is a technological marvel, featuring a Thermoplastic 94V-0 fire retardant enclosure, blower, main PCB, and display panel. It includes short circuit and over-voltage protection, as well as a quick connection and disconnection mechanism for rapid deflation when needed. The unit is powered by a 10-14ft detachable 16 AWG hospital-grade power cord and incorporates ½" flow ports with RTPM technology sensors.

The system's user interface is designed for ease of use, with dome keys and a 4x20 digital LCD display. This interface allows for effortless adjustment of pressure, time, and function settings. A standout feature is the Max Flow mode, which can inflate the mattress within 15-20 seconds. The Wireless Auto Upright Sensor automatically detects position changes and adjusts pressure accordingly, inflating the mattress to 80% higher than the set pressure to ensure optimal support.

For added convenience, the K-3 AIRE-ZONE system includes a built-in lock-out key to prevent accidental changes to settings. The mattress itself features a low-friction, low-shear force top sheet for additional comfort, and a rugged connector for quick detachment in emergency situations. All components of the system, including the manifold, tubing assembly, air cushions, top sheet, and base, are interchangeable and easily cleaned, ensuring long-term usability and maintenance.
