The K-6oem AIRE-TURN Rotation LAL Pressure System is a comprehensive air therapy solution that combines advanced technology with user-friendly design. The system's core component is its lightweight, compact control unit, which is housed in a Thermoplastic 94V-0 fire-retardant enclosure. This unit incorporates a compressor or blower, main PCB, display panel, and short circuit/over voltage protection. It also features a quick connection and disconnection mechanism for CPR deflation, as well as a coupling connector with real-time pressure monitoring technology sensors. The unit is powered by a detachable 16 AWG hospital-grade power cord, measuring 10-14 feet in length.
The control unit utilizes an innovative micro-controller with RTPM sensor capabilities, allowing for precise pressure management. Its easy-to-use software enables users to adjust pressures, times, and functions according to specific requirements. The control panel is designed with intuitive dome keys and an LED display, showing current mode, rotation times and angles, and comfort levels ranging from Soft 0 to Firm 9. For added convenience and safety, the control unit includes a lock-out key to prevent unauthorized changes to settings or power.
The system's mattress is available in various sizes: 80 x 36 x 10 inches, 80 x 39 x 10 inches, 80 x 42 x 10 inches, and 80 x 48 x 10 inches. It features a 16/20 cell design constructed with durable, urethane-coated nylon air cushions. The mattress includes built-in side bolsters that can be easily inflated or deflated as needed. A low-friction, low-shear top layer enhances comfort and reduces irritation. All components of the mattress, including the manifold, hose, cushions, top sheet, and base, are detachable for easy cleaning and maintenance.
For emergencies, a quick-release connection for rapid deflation is located on the right bottom side, near the hose assembly connection. Proper care instructions include storing the control unit and mattress in plastic bags when not in use to protect from dust and debris. It's important to note that the control unit should never be heated, steam autoclaved, or immersed in liquids during cleaning.
