The Mettler Traction Table ME4200T is a highly technological device specifically created for use in chiropractic and physical therapy settings. The main characteristic is the groundbreaking "center arching mechanism" which allows for automatic adjustment of the lumbar support, offering a maximum of 26 degrees of elevation. This process is especially advantageous when the patient is lying face down, as it helps to apply a pulling force on the lower back with a slight upward lifting aid.
The table features a "gas-driven damper strut" on the lower body part, guaranteeing a gentle and secure automatic gradual return during treatment. This function keeps the third and fourth sections in a suspended state, ensuring they do not reach the edge of the frame during treatment. Once the session ends, the traction force diminishes and the lower body section slowly goes back to its initial position.
Extra features consist of two "oversized" pillars to improve stability, individual leveling feet on each corner, retractable casters at both ends, and two gas struts for strong head section support. The height of the table can be changed from 18.5 to 35.8 inches to meet different patient requirements and therapist choices. Capable of supporting individuals up to 227.7 lbs., it is appropriate for various patients. The Mettler Traction Table comes with an MTD 4000 traction head featuring preset pull patterns and memory capacity for common treatment settings, enabling personalized and productive therapy sessions.
