More Information

Push-Pull Dynamometers are a convenient muscle strength evaluator used to assist physicians in measuring a patient’s ability to push or pull an object with a particular degree of force. Dynamometers are often used to perform functional capacity evaluations (FCEs) and in job task analyses of individuals whose physical performance abilities may have been impaired due to injury, surgery, or medical condition.

The Handles for the Baseline Hydraulic Push-Pull Dynamometers are compatible with all Baseline hydraulic and push-pull dynamometers, mechanical or electronic. The easy-to-attach single- or dual-grip handles are useful when testing a patient with larger force. They can be used with a lift platform to perform lifting force evaluations, attached to objects to assess pulling force, or pressed against an object for pushing force tests.

The handles are easy to attach and remove from the dynamometer, allowing for quick changes between tests and easy transitions between patients. The handles affix securely to the back of the dynamometer to facilitate the desired force test, and can be used with any Baseline hydraulic, mechanical, or electric dynamometers.
