Pant Dressing Aid Clip

The Pant Dressing Aid Clip is a dressing aid designed to provide support for one-handed individuals, or those who may have mobility and dexterity issues, to independently put on their pants without assistance.

The dressing aid is a simple, yet very effective tool, in creating self-reliance and more independence for an individual who has needed help in the past with buttoning and zipping their pants closed.

Ideal for one-handed individuals, the pants aid works by attaching one easy-to-grasp, three-inch clip to the waistband on one side of the zipper and the other clip to a shirt pocket. The clips are attached to the ends of a length of cord and when the user stands up, the pants will be held up on one side, similar to wearing one-side of suspenders. The user can now easily use one hand to grab the waistband on the other side of the zipper and bring the two sides together for closure. The cord holding the two clips can be shortened by tying a knot behind one of the clips.
