Plastic Handle Utensils are adaptive eating tools designed with molded plastic handles to assist individuals with limited or weakened grasping strength. The stainless steel utensils are Plastisol coated to help those who are prone to striking their teeth during meal time, as well as for individuals who are temperature sensitive to hot or cold food.
These adaptive eating utensils can provide more independence and pleasure to the user during meals and snacks. The molded plastic handle will improve the grasping ability with its built-up and ergonomic design while also helping to improve the user's holding patterns during the transference of food.
The plastic handle utensils are BPA, latex, and phthalates free, and are dishwasher safe up to 180 degrees fahrenheit. The adaptive eating utensils come in a varying choice of sizes that include a 3-inch plastic handled junior spoon, teaspoon, or fork, and/or a 4-inch handled fork, soup spoon, long teaspoon, and a regular teaspoon, as well as a 4-inch handled infant spoon and youth spoon.
