The Procare 3-Panel Knee Splint provides high quality post-operative knee support and immobilization of the knee joint, to speed healing and rehabilitation. The unique 3-piece construction features nylon/fiber laminate for strength and durability. Proper immobilization comes from three posterior aluminum stays and a loop lock closure. Sizes are listed below to fit up to 29 inches (standard) or 36 inches (extra large) in maximum thigh circumference. Measurements are taken at four inches above the patella, for the circumference of the thigh.

Most sizes are for a circumference up to 29 inches in the thigh. If labelled X-Large, it can accommodate up to 36 inches.

More Information

Procare 3-Panel Knee Splints include an adjustable foam pop pad and I-beam stays with all models. Optional designs include a cotton terry liner for hygiene and added comfort. Lengths vary from 12 inches up to 24 inches from the top of the splint to the bottom. Adjustments to the splint can be made with adjustable side panels and patella strap for a better fit and easy application.

Indications may include grade 1 and grade 2 collateral ligament sprains or patellar subluxations (kneecap dislocation); post-surgical; acute traumatic knee injuries.

Measurement taken at thigh circumference 4" above patella/kneecap

I'm having an issue with this immobilizer staying up without falling to my ankle. I have it as tight as I can get it (almost too tight as it starts to feel like my circulation is cut off) but it still falls down.

Answer: In this case, you will have to bend the metal stays to contour the shape of the leg. My guess is that when the brace was applied to the patient, no fitting adjustments were made. Rather they simply tightened the Velcro straps.
