The Procare MaxTrax Air Rom has a patented hinge design that is incorporated into the Procare MaxTrax ROM Walkers to provide patients with a protected range of motion and an adjustable air cell system. This walking cast is designed to provide stability to patients while also decreasing pain and edema that comes after a person has experienced trauma or post-operative procedures.
The Procare MaxTrax Air Rom settings fall between 45 degree plantar-flexion and 30 degree dorsi-flexion in 7.5 degree increments. The foot and ankle can be completely immobilized at 0, 7.5, 15, 22.5, and 30 degree plantar- and dorsi-flexion.
This walking cast is equipped with a cushioned inner and outer sole with a low profile rocker bottom that is designed to provide increased stability and comfort to patients. The Procare MaxTrax (tm) Air Rom is constructed with a soft nylon and foam liner for additional comfort. This walking cast is designed for treatment of the Achilles tendon and for controlled rehabilitation, and stable fractures of the lower leg.
