SouthPaw's Scooter Boards can be used on Scooter Board Ramps or on the floor to provide valuable proprioceptive and vestibular stimulation that helps balance the senses. These scooter boards offer a fun yet challenging therapy option for children. Four 360 degree casters allow for smooth linear, as well as rotational movement. A pull strap attached to the scooter's front allows teachers, clients, parents, peers, and therapists to pull the Scooter Board all over the room.

The Advantage Line scooter board offers a lower cost alternative to the Adjustable Scooter Board which is adjustable in length.

Scooter Board XL provides greater support for longer bodies. It also comes with two soft-sided straps to help hold the child's torso and/or legs on top of the board. When not in use, the straps can be stored on the underside of the scooter board itself! As clients grow, you need equipment that can grow with them and provide the challenge and fun they have come to expect from therapy.

Southpaw's Adjustable Scooter Board, which provides a fun and therapeutic way to strengthen the arms and core, adjusts in length to accommodate a wide range of user sizes. The 150 lb. capacity Scooter Board's innovative design pulls apart, allowing an extra leaf to be placed in the middle section and increasing the surface area to accommodate larger users. For safety, the board locks in position. The leaf insert that is included with the Adjustable Scooter Board increases the length from 18" to 24".

Various games and activities can be used to help motivate clients to participate in Scooter Board activities. For instance, teachers or therapists can set up a path on the floor that the child can follow. This activity helps develop bilateral coordination, problem-solving skills, and motor planning abilities.

The padded, contoured Backrest comes with soft straps to aid in positioning. The positioning device is designed to aid gravitationally insecure clients and lower functioning clients while working on the Scooter Board. It easily attaches to all Southpaw Scooter Boards and can be positioned anywhere within 3" from the front all the way to the back of the Scooter Board.

The safety of your clients is dependent on the appropriate choice of activity to match, yet challenge their physical abilities. Use appropriate spotting/safety techniques. In addition, the layout of your activity area, proper installation, and maintenance of your equipment are critical. Not intended for recreational or outdoor use.
