Seca 664 Digital Hospital Wheelchair Scale

The Seca 664 Digital Hospital Wheelchair Scale is designed for making weighing wheelchair-bound patients smooth and convenient for everyone involved. The large weighing platform is compatible with most wheelchairs and can support up to 800 pounds to accommodate a majority of even bariatric patients, also available in a KG only version. Two sturdy guide rails prevent the wheelchair from rolling over the edge of the platform, and the ribbed rubber surface adds extra traction for enhanced security.

The entire scale folds up compactly, making it easy to both transport as needed and also store without taking up too much space. Two ramps automatically lower to connect the platform to the ground so wheelchairs can be easily rolled on and off the scale by the patient or the caregiver. Both ramps fold away when transporting or storing.

The wireless capability of the scale means that results can be transmitted to an EMR system or any EMR-ready device, such as a wireless printer for instant printed results at the touch of a button. The pre-TARE function allows the weight of the patients wheelchair to be stored and then automatically deducted from the weight measurement to calculate the patients actual weight without lifting a finger. All functions, as well as transmissions, are operated by the user-friendly display panel that uses large numbers for easy readability for both patient and caregiver.
