The mid-wheel drive and limited suspension system are capable of handling many different types of driving services. In addition, a 4 post seating system and 6 points of contact with the ground increase the stability of the chair. This allows it to give patients one of the smoothest drives of any power chair. The 6Runner 14 can support up to 450 pounds and reaches speeds of up to 3.75 miles an hour. The mid-wheel drive system utilizes 14 inch solid tires. The front and rear tires on the chair are 7 inch solid. When turning, this SHOPRIDER electric wheelchair has a radius of 18 inches. If fully charged, the batteries will have a range of around 21.3 to 23.8 miles. The safe climbing angle is 6 degrees at 10%. This chair uses two NF-22 batteries, and a 5A Off-board charger. Each of the batteries weighs 33 pounds, and the total unit weight is 277 pounds. Batteries are easy to access, which allows charging the chair to be as hassle free as possible.

The 6Runner 14 inch captain seat can be reclined, increasing the comfort for riders. Arm rests can be height adjusted to fit a range of users, while the featured padding makes them comfortable to use. These arms can also be fully flipped out of the way.
