The unique design allows the user to lie down in a supine position on the sled and pull the body weight to improve the strength and mobility of the upper body. Recovery towers and pulley system can be used from a sitting position on the sled or while facing away from the kickplate board to work the lower body. Ideal for a range of exercises and rehabilitative therapies, this system ensures maximum efficiency and efficacy to provide the best possible results.
The Shuttle Recovery Leg Press System has an excellent capacity, with a resistance up to 300 pounds at full extension. It can also accommodate patient weights up to 600 pounds. Comfort and support are one of the main highlights of this exercise therapy device. It has a wide backrest, which provides additional support for bariatric and senior patients. The Recovery is also incredibly safe and secure. It has foot supports, which suspend patients' feet against the kick plate as well as a carriage lock down. An incredibly comfortable foam back wedge and a wobble board are also available.
The Senior and Senior Plus models come equipped with the Foot Support. (CDC-1003), so there is no need to purchase this Foot Support separately if buying one of those models.
