Designed with the patient in mind, the Sofsorb Custom Dressings by DeRoyal are multi-layered, absorbent one-piece dressings shaped and sized for specific hard-to-dress areas of the body.

Providing less bulk, the custom dressings are much easier and quicker to apply on the wound, minimizing the risk of infection and protecting the wound from bacteria and other harmful microbes. The flexibility of the dressings enable the user to rehab with range-of-motion exercises during physical therapy due to wounds associated with burns, heavily draining skin ulcers, post-op incision sites, abrasions and lacerations.

Sofsob's five-layer construction starts with a non-adherent wound contact layer that helps to protect fragile tissue. A stay-dry layer allows the passage of wound drainage into the remaining absorbent layers. This drainage is wicked away horizontally along pad to fully increase the dressing absorption capacity, preventing maceration and re-contamination.
