Sofsorb Specialty Absorptive Pad and Sheet Dressings help to minimize the risk of infection and protect the wound from bacteria as well as helping to wick away excess drainage from the wound to help prevent maceration of periwound skin.

With tapered limb configuration and rounded edges that will easily conform to hard-to-dress skin areas, this high-performance absorbency dressing performs exceptionally well and stays strong either wet or dry, allowing it to be saturated with topical ointments or saline for specific wound care.

Its built-in, stay-dry cellulose liner will horizontally wick away wound seepage from the injury into the absorbent layers. Combined with the non-adherent wound contact layer, the Sofsorb Specialty Absorptive Pad and Sheet Dressings will help protect fragile granulation burns and skin grafts as well as pressure ulcers, minor lacerations, and postoperative dressings.

Sofsorb is a line of high-performance absorbency dressings with a stay-dry liner built into the dressing to help prevent maceration of periwound skin

The wound contact layer is nonadherent to protect fragile granulating burns and skin grafts during the healing phase

Additionally, Sofsorb horizontally wicks drainage away from the wound and throughout the pad, increasing its absorption capacity

A large variety of sizes and anatomical shapes for pediatrics, teens and adults are available.

Five layer construction:

1 - Non-adherent wound contact layer
2 - Stay-Dry Liner that permits passage of wound drainage to keep periwound skin dry and prevent maceration at wound site
3 - Center layer that absorbs wound drainage
4 - Cellulose layer that wicks drainage horizontally along pad to increase dressing absorption capacity
5 - Air-permeable backing for strength and durability
