The Swede-O Cold Compression Pack for Joints is specifically designed and shaped to provide exceptional cold therapy to otherwise hard-to-treat joints. The adjustable straps are able to secure the pack around the joint for compression and effective cold therapy. One side of the outer fabric is very plush and soft to the touch. It does not create irritation during use since it is very gentle on the skin. The plush fabric slowly releases the cold therapy to relieve subacute pain. The other side of the pack is a smooth surface. The smooth side quickly releases cold therapy and is best for acute pain. Inside of the pack is nontoxic, biodegradable fill that remains soft and moldable even when frozen. This allows the pack to conform to the area of the body in which it is being applied.
The joint wrap is very versatile as it can be comfortably used to treat injuries on most joints such as wrists, elbows, shoulders, knees, and ankles. The cold pack surrounds, compresses, and treats inflamed areas with cold therapy to provide long-lasting relief.
To activate, the pack should be placed in the freezer for a minimum of 1 hour. Once removed from the freezer, the pack will retain its temperature for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. The pack can refreeze many times for almost unlimited amounts of uses.
