Swifty2 Special Needs Stroller

The Swifty2 Special Needs Stroller by Thomashilfen North America is a custom-made sophisticated special needs stroller designed to accommodate the big kids that are up to 50 kg / 110.2 lb and up to 150 cm / 59.1" tall. It features a solid seat and reclining backrest for an adjustable yet firm seat base.

The Swifty2 folds very compactly and easily for transport and storage without tools. The hip and back angle can be adjusted with the touch of a simple lever. Both footrests fold up so that the child can get in and out independently with ease. Easily angle the caregiver's push bar by pressing the side buttons. Rear brakes are foot-operated and self-adjusting. The upholstery ventilates air to keep the user cool and comfortable for the entire ride. Recline from 90 degrees to 115 degrees for additional comfort and personalized positioning. The adjustable seat depth and footrest height allow for many years of growth.

The Swifty2 Special Needs Stroller seat base remains fixed at a 15-degree incline for pelvic positioning against the back of the seat. A stable, lightweight aluminum frame makes this a comfortable alternative to traditional pediatric wheelchairs with a fixed seat; it can withstand the many stresses of day-to-day life and is quickly ready for use. The push bar can also be easily angled by pressing the side buttons. It features flick-of-the-wrist folding: Swifty2 is especially quick and easy to fold, as the fold lock only available on the Swifty2 keeps everything securely folded.

The Swifty2 Stroller has been dynamically crash-tested for use with an optional approved four-point tie-down system. Bus tie-down loops meet section 19 of ANSI/RESNA WC/Volume 1- secure all wheelchairs with four SAE J2249- compliant tie-down assemblies. Positioning supports, such as pelvic belt and chest harness are NOT intended for use as occupant restraints. Use only certified occupant restraints when transporting an occupied wheelchair in a vehicle.
