The TheraTouch CX4 Electrotherapy Ultrasound Combo Machine is a simple-to-use electrotherapy and ultrasound treatment machine. The ergonomic, four-channel system features an intuitive interface with plenty of function and safety presets straight out of the box. The machine can be run in either English or Spanish mode to allow a wide variety of people the ability to navigate the machine. The CX4 comes preprogrammed with two ultrasound modes, seven electrotherapy waveforms, and eight clinical protocols. The ultrasound can be run between 1 ½ 3 MHz and works in both pulsed and continuous operating modes. A 5 cm^2 sound head is included with the package and has a maximum BNR ratio of 5:1. The 4-channel electrotherapy stimulation can operate based off of 7 waveforms: Interferential, Premodulated, Biphasic (Symmetrical, Asymmetrical, and Rapid Agonist Antagonist Sequencing (RASS)), NMS, Russian, High Volt, and Microcurrent. The RASS mode is a unique electrotherapy waveform that mimics the body½s natural firing pattern of muscle contractions. This makes it especially effective at re-educating weak and inhibited muscles from surgery, injury, or other similar traumas. Eight preset clinical protocols come installed on the machine to provide a step-by-step guide on how to provide the ideal therapeutic treatment for each patient. There is room for 99 other custom protocols that can be updated to fit your individual clinic½s needs. Protocols range from steps for the therapist to follow all the way down to an anatomical library with electrode placement suggestions. Implementing these protocols will provide consistency across the clinic for the most effective treatment with each patient. The TheraTouch CX4 is covered under a 3-year warranty.
