The reusable ThermaZone Knee pads provide superb hot/cold therapy that does not suffer from the typical issues of standard thermal therapy such as inconsistent temperatures, severe temperatures, and condensation. Knee injuries can be especially severe and traumatic for people, thus it is essential to reduce pain and swelling to help the body best heal if possible. In cases where surgery is required, the knee pad can help during the recovery process but also reduce damage directly after the injury and before surgery can take place.
The pads are made of soft neoprene with binding edges that improve quality and longevity. Inside the pad, the water delivery system is directly welded into the Thermoplastic Polyurethane. The pad can be applied to either knee and can additionally be used on elbows. An additional pad extender strap may be purchased to ensure a proper fit for individuals who need a bit more room. Each pad comes with a 3-month limited warranty.
Cleaning:
Power down unit and disconnect therapy pad from the machine.
Pad should be cleaned with a neutral disinfectant wipe, mild detergent, or soap-water. Pads may be rinsed with warm tap water and dried with a clean lint-free cloth.
Do NOT use ANY chemical cleaning agents, degreasing agents, or alcohol-containing products. Do NOT machine wash or dry. Do NOT place pads in the autoclave or try to sterilize.
Storage and Disposal:
Always unplug after use and when not in use.
Store in a dry, cool, clean space.
Avoid extended sunlight and high heat exposure.
After use ensure that caps are placed on ends of blue tubes.
