DeRoyal's Warrior Wrist and Thumb Splint is designed to offer protection, stabilization, and comfort to the wearer during recovery from wrist or thumb injury or surgery. Accompanying the splint's protective design, it also offers a number of features that give it a personalized fit for the user and make its use more convenient. The splint features a removable lacing system that allows it to be put on and adjusted in size to the specific needs of the wearer. This gives the splint universal sizing and ensures that every wearer gets an ideal, personalized fit that meets their needs. To make donning and doffing the splint more convenient, the lacing system uses a single-pull lace format for closure.

Beyond its dynamic adjustability, the Warrior Wrist and Thumb Splint's palmar region is designed to stop prior to the distal palmar crease of the hand, which offers the freedom of movement needed to give the wearer full range of motion in the fingers. Joining this, the thumb and palmar stays are made to be malleable and adjustable so that the wearer can situate the wrist and thumb in an ideally comfortable, well-supported position.
