Can I put it on top of me when I go to sleep will it shoot off on its own? Will it help carpal tunnel and inflammation also?

Answer: This device will need to be turned on in order for the heated elements to warm up, however, it can be left on while you sleep thanks to its 10-hour automatic shut-off. Heat therapy can absolutely help mitigate and alleviate inflammation. I'm unsure about its effects on Carpal Tunnel, though. I love the size, the 8 hour continuous cycle, very soft fleece.
not sure about the size and thickness of the cord...very thin?
