The Joerns Bariatric Healthcare Bed System provides a multi-functional comfort and support system in one convenient package. This bed system is versatile and strong, easily accommodating users weighing up to 750 pounds and mattresses up to 54 inches wide for ultimate adjustability and user accommodation. The expandable deck is easily adjusted with a convenient pull pin system from 39 to 54 inches, accommodating a variety of body shapes and sizes while also being capable of emergency transfers through doorways as narrow as forty inches.
Includes a three-function electric control that allows simple operation of height adjustment, head (Fowler), and knee gatch functions. The height easily adjusts from a low height of 17 to a maximum height of 30 to allow easy access to the bed surface, easing transfers, and then raising the user to be easily accessible by caregivers at an ergonomic height.
This bed system is constructed to be long-lasting and durable, supporting a lifting capacity of 750 pounds and featuring three-position, wing type padded side rails for improved safety and stability. It also includes an IV pole and Foley bag holder for versatile accommodation of a variety of user needs. An optional trapeze can be added as well for even further versatility.
