The bed is made with a high-quality welded steel frame capable of supporting up to 600-pounds. This high weight capacity pairs with the bed's power-adjustable width and length to ensure that it can support patients of all shapes and sizes. The bed's width is adjustable between 36 to 42 inches (requires the Width Expansion upgrade), and its length can be adjusted between 80 and 88 inches. The height of the bed is also ultra-adjustable, as it conveniently shifts between 7 and 30 inches in height to accommodate the most accessible care possible.

The bed boasts impressive adjustability, as (10) separate settings are capable of full-powered adjustment, including height, width, back angle, foot angle, and more. Adjustments are made simple and easy through the use of the bed's hand pendant remote control, which allows patients and caregivers to adjust any of the features of the bed at the push of a button. This allows for personalized comfort, as an ideally comfortable position is never farther than a button press away.

    Beyond the impressive adjustability and high-quality design of the Prime Care Bed Model P903, it also offers customers a broad selection of optional features that can enhance patient comfort and ensure safety. The bed is available with multiple bed end shapes (Mill Creek or Brownlee Woods) and colors (Oak, Cherry, or Mahogany), which also have the option to include controls integrated into the bed ends for easier caregiver control. The bed is also available with optional rotating assist bars, which enhance safety and provide assistance in repositioning and support. Finally, to ensure patient comfort, the bed is available with the inclusion of Drive Medical's Gravity 8 or Gravity 9 Pressure Relief Mattress, which are mattresses specially designed to redistribute pressure, directly preventing and treating pressure ulcers and optimizing patient comfort.
