Everything that other splints fall short on, the SaeboStretch Hand Splint for Stroke Recovery has created a solution for. With revolutionary, energy-storing plates, patients no longer have to experience the discomfort of finger curling and joint pain. During spastic movements, the SaeboStretch Hand Splint allows the fingers to bend but will then gradually reposition them to a state of extension. Between the sewn-on straps and easily removable cover, patients can self-apply and adjust this splint, helping them maintain a great sense of independence. The SaeboStretch Hand Splint for Stroke Recovery can help patients with pain relief and support that other splints on the market simply can't provide.

More Information

After a neurological injury, it is common for patients to have a slight flex to their wrist, palmer arch, or fingers. Often times the hand will flex involuntarily, leading to long-term pain and discomfort. But with Saebo's revolutionary SaeboStretch Technology, the SaeboStretch Hand Splint for Stroke Recovery's hand plates bend just enough to accommodate spasticity while still being able to return the fingers back to their desired state. Therapists can now offer a solution to their patients that eliminates finger curling found with traditional, rigid splints.

Patients who have suffered a stroke, spinal cord injury, or experience a neurological disorder will all have varying degrees of spasticity. To ensure a proper fit, the wrist and thumb supports can be easily bent and the hand plates can be interchanged with others, offering different levels of resistance. Working together with these malleable parts are the anatomically placed straps, safely securing the fingers in place during movement.

This remarkable design allows for radial and palmar adduction/abduction, maintaining the integrity of the palmar arch, and increasing the range of motion. And with time, motor function can be increased and pain will be greatly diminished. The SaeboStretch Stroke Recovery Hand Splint offers unbeatable comfort, support, and results.
