The Titanium (tm) Wheelchair Cushion is a multi-layered visco memory foam bariatric cushion with gel, specifically designed for superior pressure reduction and proper patient posture. A gel bladder combined with a top layer of visco elastic memory foam provides excellent pressure reduction by uniformly distributing the patient's weight. The contoured shape with a built-in leg abductor encourages proper positioning for better posture and greater overall comfort.

The middle layer of high resilient, high density foam encourages proper patient posture by allowing the patient to submerge into the cushion. The pommel acts as a built in leg abductor. The waterproof stretch cover provides low shear to help maintain sensitive skin tissue. The non-skid bottom offers additional security.

Titanium Wheelchair Cushion Features:

This top of the line, multi layered, variable density foam and gel cushion provides comfort with advanced therapeutic support. The Titanium Cushion encourages correct patient posture, proper spine alignment, stability, and uniform weight distribution.

Specially designed tapered front with pommel relieves thigh pressure and promotes optimal leg positioning.

The top layer is made of high-density foam providing enhanced anterior distal thigh loading and posterior sacrum support.

The middle layer is soft, self-molding, shock absorbing visco elastic foam to provide maximum comfort and stability. It is a latex free material.

The middle layer is also comprised of a gel bladder. This enhances patient positioning and reduces pressure around bony prominences.

The bottom layer is a sculptured high density foam foundation base providing stability and encourages correct posture and proper alignment.

The black cover is made from Unitek IV(tm) low shear, nylon stretch fabric. It reduces heat and moisture build up, is fluid resistant, stain resistant, anti-microbial/bacterial, and fire retardant, conforming to flammability standard TB117. The cover is equipped with Mason's Barrier Stop(tm) over-flap to protect zippers from fluids. The cover can be removed and is washable.

ok for support in small trips I was really looking for a ROHO CUSION but for the price I would say its a good investment but not for sitting for large amount of time

I have tried 3 different wheelchair cushions as well as a doughnut cushion and my pressure ulcers were still a problem. With this cushion they have completely healed!

this cushion is no better than my existing cushion.
it is definetly not worth $88.

I have two pressure sores; one on the left hip the other on the right hip.The measurements are exact and fits the lift chair exactly as described. It is soft yet well formed so as to apply equal pressure on all areas. I had relief immediately. Well worth the cost.I recommend it to any one regardless of having a broken area. Use it as a preventative.
