As a division of Homecare Products, Incorporated, EZ-Access was founded as a family business in 1984 by Glenda Everard and her daughter, Deanne Sandvold. Glenda’s son, Don Everard, joined the business in 1988, adding his wealth of marketing expertise. Together, these three drove the expansion of the accessible ramp industry by combining their manufacturing and marketing experience, effectively pioneering the ramp market with their innovative portable wheelchair ramps.
With headquarters and west coast manufacturing based in Algona, Washington, and east coast manufacturing based in Morganfield, Kentucky, EZ-Access is able to offer faster, less expensive delivery across the USA. They additionally enjoy a number of partnerships with state associations, national member service organizations, and national/regional marketing organizations to ensure superior quality and efficient service to all of their customers, residential and commercial.
With a multitude of portable, folding and modular ramp designs for residential, commercial, recreational and industrial applications, EZ-Access’ focus on being “all about accessibility” is now expanding into the development of other products that offer users easier access, such as toilet lifts, door openers, vehicle lifts, inflatable bathtubs and other bathroom accessibility/safety products.
