With its variety of customizable components and adjustable features, the ActiveAid 1100 Height-Adjustable Rehab Shower and Commode Chair is the ultimate combination of patient comfort, caregiver convenience, and versatile functionality. Patients will appreciate the thick, seamless padding that lines not only their seat, but also the wide backrest and armrests, ensuring every point of contact with the seat is soft and forgiving. All this padding is covered in waterproof material that is easy to wipe clean, saving valuable caregiver time. A variety of seat options are available to choose from, all with keyhole hygiene cutouts for compatibility with toileting; beneath the seat lies a bedpan hanger that holds the included bedpan for easier clean-up. For the lower half of the body, both foot rests are independently height-adjustable and feature a detachable calf strap for added support. To make transitions in and out of the chair easier and safer for both patient and caregiver, the footplates of each footrest flip up and both footrests swing sideways out of the way.

The stainless steel frame, available in white or black, is both rust- and corrosion-resistant, making it easy to maintain for years to come. Simple push-button mechanisms allow the seat height to be raised and lowered to make it easier for patients to get in and out of the chair; the seat can also be tilted forward on an angle to accommodate positioning needs as well as easier access to sensitive areas for caregivers. The forward and rear 5 casters feature locking mechanisms for safe stationary use and are capable of swiveling 360 degrees for flexible maneuverability that can easily clear tight corners; optionally, you can have the rear casters instead be 24 in size to allow for self-propulsion.
