The Alterra Hi-Low Electric Bed has been designed to give patients and residents a comfortable nights sleep while being able to operate and position them without disturbance. This fully electric bed makes use of a top-of-the-line parallel electronics system that operates smooth and silent. Equipped with synchronized high-low motors, this bed ensures the stability and durability of the bed deck, even after frequent adjustments and long-term use. The deck uses a unique grid/rib design that resists mattress sagging to increase the durability of the bed. The patent-pending foot lock underneath the bed folds away when it is not in use to reduce the risk of it accidentally tripping someone walking near the bed. The beds have a maximum patient weight capacity of 500 pounds. The Alterra Hi-Low Electric Bed is available separately and in a package with oak headboards and footboards, soft rails, and a wall guard. Additionally, the bed has been designed and constructed to the FDAs guidelines in order to reduce the risk of accidents such as entrapment.
