The Bright Box Tactile Switch is great for users with low vision, for nighttime use, or simply to attract attention. Press the top surface to activate switch adapted toys, mouse interfaces, or communication devices.
The Bright Box lights up for visual feedback. The Light Switch has three functions: Off, On, and Continuous. The Power Switch has three functions: Lo, Hi, and Flash. (Includes one 9 volt battery).
When lit up, a 1.75" x 3.75" area glows in blue-green
The AC adaptor (sold separately) can be used in place of a battery to operate the Bright Box or Bright Box Tactile Switch. This is especially useful when the device is turned on for an extended period of time.
The Bright Box uses 1/8 inch jacks for connection to communication devices, mouse interfaces or switch-adapted toys with 1/8 inch plugs to activate them.The Tactile version provides vibrational feedback in addition to the glowing surface, much like the vibration of a cell phone. You may choose from either model above.
The visual feedback and tactile feedback can be employed independently of each other. Each can be off, on, or in a flashing/pulsing mode. (tactile feedback is only available on the Bright Box Tactile model).
