The Comfort Company Single Foot Support is a comfortable, pressure-mitigating foot support compatible with most standard wheelchairs and available in both standard and tall heights. The support is comprised of the upper stabilizer and lower platform; users can choose to purchase both components together for comprehensive support or one component individually to provide more targeted support that meets the user's unique needs. High resiliency, medium density foam construction covered by a fluid-proof and multidimensional-stretch Comfort-Tek cover conforms to the contours of the foot and lower calf without sacrificing sturdy support; the soft construction reduces pressure on bonier areas to help prevent and treat pressure ulcers. The leather-like material is stain resistant and easy to wipe clean as needed. The heel is cut out to help keep the leg and foot cool, dry, and properly positioned at all times. A variety of mounting hardware options are available that clamp or bolt the foot support to standard wheelchairs quickly and easily; one mounting hardware option features a swing-away design that ensures smoother, easier transfers into and out of the chair.
