Designed with an open front entrance for easy user entry and egress, it also has an anti-tip safety design, a lap bar to help the unstable user to maintain sitting up on the toilet, and a slide-out footrest for comfort and added safety.

Another safety feature is the easy-glide, no-rust, twin-wheel all-locking casters that allow the chair to be safely locked into place during patient transfer in a more accident-prone area such as a shower area or bathroom. This shower chair also comes with a privacy skirt for user dignity and personal hygiene confidentiality.
