Detecto Rescue Medical Carts

The Detecto series of Rescue Medical Carts are available in four colors that correspond to the intended use of the medical cart. The General Purpose carts are crisp white, the Isolation Carts are cautious yellow, the ER Medical Carts are stop-sign red, and the Anesthesiology Carts are a relaxing blue shade. Each mobile cabinet unit is fitted with either 5 or 6 drawers. The fade of the assistive storage carts is colored while the sides, back, and interior of the cart is made of white powder-coated steel.

The steel frame is treated with a layer of powder-coat paint that is specifically designed to enhance the longevity and robustness of the frame. The powder-coat on the medical carts prevents scratches, bumps, abrasion, and other surface damage. The ABS countertop and bumpers are water-repellent as well as preventing bacteria growth. The frame has been intelligently designed to not topple over. A single handle has been applied to one side of the medical cart. The handle is ergonomically curved to enhance control and mobility.

The wheels on each medical cart have a diameter of 5-inches. The wheels utilize two parking locks and one-directional steering lock. All of the wheels possess 360-degree rotation for mobility in small rooms and narrow corridors. When the drawers close, they close completely with zero exposed seams. This protects the inner contents and prevents a drawer from accidentally sliding open. The wheels and drawer frame are designed with quiet technology to reduce noise pollution. The wheels will not squeak and the drawers have a soft- close feature.

The Loaded Red ER Medical Carts include the following accessories: IV pole, defibrillator shelf, cardiac board, oxygen tank holder, sharps container holder, and two accessory rails. The Loaded Blue Anesthesiology Medical Carts include the following accessories: sharps container holder, 12-bin organizer with an accessory bridge, catheter holder, waste bin, and two accessory rails.
