The Seca 755 Mechanical Column Scale with Stadiometer is a classic multi-tasking device designed to take a patients weight and height and then calculate their BMI thanks to the colorful BMI range organized into four sections: underweight, normal, overweight, and obese. When the patient steps on the scale, the inner BMI disc beings to move and adjusts to the weight of the patient; a small display window allows both the patient and physician to view the discs colors that will line up with the static height ranges. Once the disc stops moving, the physician can note the patients height via the integrated stadiometer and then use the ranges above the BMI display window to ascertain the patients BMI.

The simple mechanical design provides precise accuracy of results and uses a simple red needle to indicate the patients weight. The entire scale is mounted on transport casters that make it easier to transfer from one room to the next and about the facility as needed. To enhance traction and reduce the risk of slips and falls, the weighing platform features a ribbed surface and non-slip material. The low platform is easily accessible to most individuals and made of heavy-duty cast iron for structural stability. The height range of the integrated stadiometer is wide enough to accommodate both adults and children.
