The Seca 700 Mechanical Column Beam Scale sets the standard for beam balance scales in terms of convenience and efficiency. The 500-pound weight capacity accommodates a majority of patients, and large standing platform with non-slip grip ensures plenty of space for larger patients with wider stances. The durable cast-iron base provides stability as patients move onto and off of the platform but is mounted on casters for easy portability as needed; the anti-tip column prevents the display from swaying or shifting even as the patient does during the weighing process.

The eye-level display allows for more convenient and more accurate results; physicians can easily adjust the display as needed until they have the accurate patient weight without having to stoop uncomfortably. The scale is available with markings in pounds only, kilograms only, and in both pounds and kilograms together to suit physician preference or facility standard. A stadiometer that attaches to the scale is available to provide height measurement along with weight.
