The Rice Lake Mobile Digital Chair Scale is a heavy-duty weighing device designed to assist medical professionals weigh patients with a variety of physical limitations ranging from poor coordination to weak or unreliable leg strength. Four smooth-rolling casters allow physicians to maneuver the chair to the most convenient location for the patient to safely and easily transition to a sitting position; they can also be used to conveniently transport the chair around the facility as needed. Once positioned properly, the foot-operated locks on all four wheels can be activated to ensure the chair stays securely in place. The armrests and footrest of the chair offer enhanced comfort during use, and both flip up out of the way to facilitate smoother transfers into and out of the chair.
The large, clear LCD screen displays results in bold, easy-to-read type for easy visibility even from a distance; measurements can be displayed in pounds, kilograms, or both at once to suit physician preference and/or facility need. For additional functionality, the chair can also measure body mass index (BMI); the convenient hold function ensures all measurements remain displayed long enough to be recorded as well as for delayed reference. To ensure more accurate results, Motiontrap technology compensates for any movement of the patient during the weighing process. The Mobile Digital Chair Scale is EHR-capable for convenient data recording, storing, and tracking.
